Docker — флагман рынка ПО для контейнеризации и микросервисов, появившийся в 2013 году и до сих пор остающийся основным игроком. Для его использования в Ubuntu не требуется установки отдельной ВМ, т.к. он использует возможности ядра.
Все действия выполняются от имени суперпользователя.
Обновим репозитории.
$ apt-get update
Установим пакеты окружения.
$ apt-get -y install apt-transport-https ca-certificates curl gnupg-agent software-properties-common
Установим ключ и добавим новый репозиторий (обратите внимание, третья команда содержит в теле символ $).
$ curl -fsSL https://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu/gpg | apt-key add -
$ apt-key fingerprint 0EBFCD88
$ add-apt-repository "deb [arch=amd64] https://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu $(lsb_release -cs) stable"
$ apt-get update
Установим docker.
$ apt-get install docker-ce docker-ce-cli containerd.io
Добавим пользователя koobik в группу docker (чтобы не приходилось работать с контейнерами через sudo).
$ usermod -aG docker koobik
Проверим, что установка прошла без ошибок (от имени пользователя koobik).
koobik@dockerlab:~$ docker run hello-world
Hello from Docker!
